Topbar at very top of theme

Trying to get a topbar right up the very most top and for it to show in the theme i have tried puting a div code in the template above header but it still aint showing up.

any help will be appreciated

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but I put in a title bar in my header image to make it look as if there was a title bar at the top of the page. I'm not modding my template but I got the look I wanted.

Basically what I did is, When I had the final theme choice done I created a temporary category on my test site. I named it "Devil Dogs" (I wanted to have the same white font as the rest of the categories). I then took a screenshot of the test site and saved it. I then opened that screenshot in image editing (I use Gimp) and cut out the title bar I created and pasted it over in my header image.

pip i know that way of hand i just thought that there was a coding way of doing it.

pip i think pawl might know how to do it as he is a wiz at template mods so i think we might have to wait until he comes online

I actually needed mine to be a graphic so I could overlay graphics on the title bar.  I wasn't sure if you needed a functional title bar or one for just looks in a theme, so I posted an option for you. Good luck, I hope someone who can help gets back to ya.
