need a "new posts" button next to Participated.

just as the title states.. i need a to get a button or clickable link up by where the "participated" link/button is on the top right of the main page or on the home/search/members/profile line... either would work..    its a highly used function on v4 that lots of members are requesting and my coding skills suck. i seem to screw up more than i get right.. LOL..

You can link to New Topics using

Admin > Settings > Forum Settings > Navigation > clicking Add Custom at the bottom and putting '/threads/recent' into the URL box.

Not sure how to do individual new posts though sorry.
