Well, to say I'm new here is kind of a lie. According to archive.org I've been around since about May 2003... I've been absent for a while and decided to take a look back at Proboards to see if I could find some familiar people. I've known Avtar for a while and I know he's still lurking around here somewhere.
When I first joined Proboards I was in high school. Since then I graduated, went to college, held a job as a website designer for about 6-7 years and left that job when I joined the US Army as an infantryman in 2011. I'm happily married to a beautiful woman who is currently pregnant with our daughter who is due to be born anytime between now and the next 4 weeks or so. Currently I am in Afghanistan and hoping to make it home soon to meet my daughter after she's born.
I have a background in PHP, MySQL, Apache, IIS 5 & 6, various Linux distros (mainly Debian and Mint), jQuery, and I've dabbled in some Java and ASP.net. I came back to Proboards just looking around at stuff that I used to do online and figured that PBGT would give me something to look at while I spend time talking to my wife whenever I have down time.
Anyways, that's my (re)introduction. Thanks!
