I'm partially anticipating that this is just some sort of idiotic mistake on my part, but since I haven't been able to find out how to fix it, I figured it wouldn't hurt to see if I could get some help. The plugin is working beautifully and in spite of having only just recently been installed on my forum, all of my members are totally in love with it, so thank you very much for making it available! I'm just having a really minor trouble with it. For some reason, when I go into the Karma tab, everything shows up just fine except for the "Karma Given" bit. There's a blank space where a display name should show up. It looks like this:



The theme I'm using is heavily modified, so at first I thought that was the problem, but I went in and tried to see if the same thing would still happen if I was using the default theme and nothing changed, so I'm assuming it doesn't have anything to do with that. I'm guessing I just overlooked something really simple, but I can't figure out what went wrong for the life of me, so I was hoping you could help out! It's a really minor thing, but I thought I'd ask anyways. Again, thanks so much for the plugin on behalf of me and everyone on my forum!

I really do think it is because of your mini-profile layout. The code is looking for something specific to grab the name and your mini-profile doesn't have any of that information. You sure it didn't work with a default layout? Try and use the default layout and then give someone karma. see if that works.

Ah, man, I don't know why it didn't occur to me to actually try giving someone karma on the default skin. I just tried viewing it. You're right, unsurprisingly - it does show up when you give/take karma from someone on the default. I figured it was gonna be something on my end. Do you know if there's anything I can do to modify the template so it shows up correctly? It's already pretty heavily edited, though, like you said, so if it's too much trouble, I totally understand. Either way, it's just a minor thing! Thanks for your time!

Is there any way you could get the users name into the div class="mini-profile" and still maintain the look and design of your mini-profile. Because the reason its not working is because it's looking for the users name inside that div and you don't have it there so it returns nothing.

I can, actually; though for the sake of getting the awards plugin to work in the mini profile, I need to have the mini-profile class below the user's name, as well. I'm not sure if it'll cause problems or interfere if I have it in two places - I'm still very much a novice when it comes to this sort of thing, unfortunately - but to be sure, I removed the secondary mini-profile class required for the awards plugin and moved it so that the user's name is inside of the mini-profile class, like you suggested. Still nothing, though, with or without the secondary mini-profile class in the template - assuming I did this right. Is there anything else you'd recommend me trying? Thanks again for all your help!

If you wanted to keep your original thing. What you could do is just put a hidden user link in your div class="mini-profile"
