Just to let you know. I took out the code completely just a couple of minutes ago. It was doing wonky things when I clicked onto my profile to change one of my personal settings.

At first, I only took out the last part that we were supposed to add into the "summary" area. Funny, that was when I noticed there was a second part to add to the mini profile that I didn't catch this morning. So, I went to add that part in there. It worked. The number was showing even without the last part of your code in the summary.... I know partial or incomplete codes can cause problems so I thought it was best to talk to you first so I don't mess up my site. (that is why I took out the whole code for now.)

Still, the number went below the mini profile border when I looked at it. Yet, the words I chose (exalt and smite) were where I wanted them to be ( This morning, they were below the border and I wished they were above.) LOL. This is so crazy. LOL.

I thought to get the number to show next to the words I chose, I tried moving the <div> below everything to see what would happen. Then my exalt to a friend ended up being a smite. All this and still I had already taken out the third part of your code. I know it's something I am doing wrong. I completely took out all three parts since it's late and I don't want my friends to think I'm smiting them. LOL. I'll work on it again tomorrow or over the weekend.

I'm pretty sure I'll be back in here for your guidance. Farewell for now my friend. And thank you for your time and patience thus far.


ps. Another quick question: Will I need to do this for ALL of my skins/themes or is there no way to do this universal?

Now that I caught my goof the other day... I've tried to do the edits you requested for us to do. (The two in the mini profile and the third in User Profile'S Summary tab)

I'm going to resend the copy of my mini profile to you via PM. I have the codes there at the bottom since that is where I'd like the karma points to be located.

Hi.. I was wondering if there is any way to manually edit the amount of karma, rather than giving or taking it one by one? The reason I ask is that on the forum I'm on we use it for monetary exchange, and in the old system go into the profile to remove or add karma as necessary. I'm curious as to whether there is a way to do this in the plugin you've created?

Click the karma number in the profile or mini-profile, and a pop-up should come up.

OK... I'm a little worried. I went in and did the edits to my mini profile just as you suggested. However, it's working beautifully without my edit to the summary profile edit... (the part right here in your first post.)

Do I still need to do this edit? I'm worried that if I don't then I might mess something up codewise on my site? I guess, what I'm saying is that I'm not quite sure what THIS edit does since the mini profile edit does the job.

That edit just adds the karma number and give/take karma buttons ti the profile page.

I'm trying to have it to where when some posts or creates a thread, it automatically gives them karma. Is this possible?

Woops sorry for the bad grammar. I mean't to put when someone posts or creates a thread. What do you mean by current way. I installed the latest version if thats what you mean.

Are you wanting it to increase with posting as well as people giving you karma. Or are you just wanting to gain karma for new posts/threads?
