Is it possible to change the ban message? or like, add a reason so the person can see why they are banned? I find keeping banned people out a problem. And they almost always make a new account to ask why they were banned.

Greetings,
It is not possible to modify this message, as no forum data (including plugins) are sent to a banned user. Most bans would come after repeated warnings, and if you have to ban immediately, you can always email the member.

You can also tell them when their ban will be lifted.

This may be a dumb question RedBassett, but I cannot see email addresses (even as Admin). I would like to send an email explaining a temporary ban. Am I looking in the wrong place? EDIT: I think I found my answer here. From the Members section of the Admin panel, I can email specific members. Right on.

You can email them from the members section, but you also should be able to view email addresses if you are the main admin. Feel free to create a new thread over in support if you still can't see them.
