I still could not get it to work on my bets test board.
So I started a brand new test board and placed it exactly how you said. I am gonna keep my eye on it. When the ad free runs out I will be back to let you know what happens, sound good?

OK. But ad free really should have nothing to do with anything. All you're doing is placing an extra nav bar either above or below the quick reply box, depending on what you chose.

moonbeam I understand where you are coming from but to suit my own hard headness I am gonna try this first.

Here is a screen shot with the code installed how you described on the new board I started today and it is working correctly.

I'm not saying I don't believe you. I just don't know why suddenly having ads would change anything. My board has been both ways in the last month, with no effect on the lower nav bar.

I am not the one who provided the original code- I'm just sharing it. If it goes wonky a second time, staff may have to help figure out why.

I agree that if it is wonky, I will ask staff about it I will keep you updated since you were kind enough to share the code if you dont mind.

Hello, moonbeam! 

I've started a few threads about this and happened upon this thread by accident.

My board misses forum jump that's always been in v4.

I wanted to put the Navigation tree at the top and bottom but was told by several folks that it's not possible.

I've followed your directions and I do get a double navigation tree, one after the other at the top of the page.

Is your code still working for you?

Any help would be appreciated.

♥ ℒʊ√ ♥ - yes, mine still works. Though, as I mentioned before, it doesn't pop out a menu like the top one does. It's just like a bread crumb trail, is all. Where did you place the code for the lower one? Can you screenshot the template page where it is?

Could be a plug-in conflict. Do you run any plug-ins on your forum?

How old is your beta board. I have found that some boards that have not been updated do this. Including one of mine.

Hi Speed!    I have a few boards. The one in question is only about a month old.

I just clicked on moonbeam's board. She doesn't appear to be using any plug-ins. I have a feeling it may be the side table coding that prevents it from working.

No, I do use plugins.. not a ton but some of them are custom written for our board by my super genius coding admin, Virgil. Not sure that a plugin would interfere with a template mod though.

As far as what Brian said, I got the impression that he only meant you couldn't have the bottom one behave like the top one (with the drop down menu).

I will also note that my beta board is one of the older ones and this code works there, as well, and my current board was the first one to be converted to v5. Does the code work on ANY of your beta boards, Luv? It almost seems like it's the newer ones having problems rather than the older ones.
