Board Links for the bottom of a thread.

Hi everyone, great work on all these mods so far, its been a good learning experiance trying to make my board better.

Before the update though, we had links to the current board/category/main page underneath the last post in each thread.  How can i add those?

I dont know if you will be able to access it. The admin maintains it as a closed forum for private use but hes not very technically minded at all, so im helping out with the changeover.

IvoryTowers, do you mean the nav tree? If so, you can add a second one to the bottom of your forum.

Go to Templates > Forum wrapper. Find this piece of code for the nav tree (and the Participated button) around line 49-53:
$[participated_threads_link]

<div id="navigation-tree">
$[navigation.tree]
</div>

and copy it to Templates > Thread> tab 'Thread' - go to the very bottom and paste it above $[quick_reply] if you want it between the last post and the top of quick reply. Or under quick reply if you want it even lower.

You can also add this to your PM area in the same fashion.
Templates > Conversations > tab 'Show Conversation' , and copy it above/below $[quick_reply] as desired.

Note that you have to do this for all themes you have, and it will not pop out the menu like the top one does.

moonbeam the code you have at the bottom for the thread that puts the nav / [articipation bar in down there only works for ad free. I had it installed at Glass Graphix forum since the board was new and PB's gives you like 20 days +/- ad free it worked but I noticed last night the ads started to appear and the nav / particip bar went up to the top.

I say there is a bug in the code. Is there a fix for this for non ad free boards?

The code works for non-ad free too- because my board has ads. Perhaps it's moved to a different spot somehow? I'm not home right now, but when I get back in a few hours, I'll post the link to the thread I got the code from.

 I assure you it did work when the board was add free, as soon as it went non ad free boom it went right up to the top under the board links bar but yes thanks will be looking forward to seeing get a fix, maybe lol

The thread is about moving it below the ad, but later on it gets into adding it to the bottom. As I said, ad-free has nothing to do with it, and I'm unaware of any bugs. Are you sure you got it in the right place?
