search not finding all members

Hello, I have tried to search a number of my members and they are not being found in the search though they exist. It is picking up some but not all. and it doesn't seem to be by letter. It's random.

Which search are you asking about? The search for user button on the reply page for tagging? The general search? Search on the 'Members' page?

Could I also get a link to the forum where this issue is happening please?

Hi Willing Sniper,

I encountered now issues searching for one of your members 'apple' on all three methods of search I mentioned above. Make sure you are typing in the users username, and not display name. If the issue still persists, could you try using another web browser and let me know if that fixes it for you?

I am using Chrome presently.

I just tried IE and it's the same.

This isn't totally related, but Martyn is planning on implementing a new Sphinx script sometime this week. This should clear up the last of the search issues.
