Some Proboard Roleplay forums require you to make separate accounts for every character you make. A lot of these keep a quick log-in option in the sidebars. However, now that the login functions differently, I'm not exactly positive it's possible to make a "quick Login" for changing accounts.
Here's my request. I would like a code to do one of two things: 1. A Quick Login you could put in a sidebar to change accounts quickly. 2. Some sort of account linker, so that you can link all your accounts to a master account and be able to switch which account you're posting from.
My problem is that the accounts need to be separate in order to separate each account into it's member group (warrior, thief, noble, etc). If you have another method of accomplishing this, I'd be incredibly grateful.

From what I am aware you don't need anything like what you're asking for with quick log in. With V5 it allows you to globally link all your accounts on a proboards site. Once you global link all your accounts you can then switch between them. I imagine that your site is a role play site? Where people have a few characters each? I do role play writing on my own and have 60 plus characters and I sat and global linked them all over two nights. I keep my "admin" character logged in under the "remember me" on the global page but when I want to write for one of my characters I click on the icon of two people that you should see at the bottom right hand corner of the support site here and it will then let me switch to one of my other accounts. The next icon allows you to switch between forums once they're too globally linked. I think the global link is a great idea and you would find that your request here is redundant with the global log in feature. Because once all accounts are linked you don't need to log in and out again. You just keep yourself logged in under "remember me" with one account and from then on, just switch whenever you want to write with another account/character. I can do a screen print of the screen that comes up showing all available accounts if you wish. Only thing is, you will only see so many of mine. But you'd get the idea.
