Global Accounts Not Staying Alphabetized

After arranging my accounts in alphabetical order, they weren't in alphabetical order when I next went to switch accounts.
3) What do you think should have happened instead?
The accounts on the global select page should have had them in alphabetical order after arranging them that way.
4) Can you reproduce this on every pageview?
Everytime I go to the global account page to switch accounts, yes, they still remain unalphabetized.
5) What browser, version, and operating system are you using?
Firefox 18.0.1 {up to date} windows vista
6) Please attach a screen shot (JPG or PNG -- not GIF or BMP) if it is relevant

Not in alphabetical order despite arranging the accounts that way from the accounts page. After creating a thread in the V5 general discussion area, I was advised to file the bug report as they were under the impression that arranging the accounts in alphabetical order on the accounts page, should make them turn up in alphabetical order on the global account select page as attached. I would very much like for them to be in alphabetical order as it is far easier to get to the account that I want to write with.

Did someone fix this? As I went to switch an account today for the first time, they're now in alphabetical order. If they haven't, does it take a while to update? Either way, they appear to be in alphabetical order now. Which is great.

Can it please be fixed for good? It's so much easier for switching accounts if they're in order. Thanks.

Hi Mands,

The accounts should stay in the order that you arrange them in on the "Accounts" page of the global login system. Let me know if this issue happens to you again.

I thought that should be the case. But it's only kept them alphabetized the once. I've been having to use ctrl+f and typing the name to find it. It's not that much of an issue really but it would be so much easier if they stayed in alphabetical order. I did put them that way on the accounts page and as far as I know they are still set that way. If it's still doing it to me when I go to switch to an account to write soon, I will post again and let you know.

They seemed to be in alphabetical order again, but I have a lot of accounts to create yet as I am always creating new characters for my writing, so I wonder if each time I add one and slot it into the right place if it will keep them alphabetized. Anyway, I will keep an eye on it and go back to this topic if I see them out of order again. Can you or someone give me the link I need to organise them into alphabetical order, I can't seem to find it. LOL!

Hi Mands,

Visiting www.proboards.com when you're logged into your global account should take you to your global account page. Clicking "Account Settings" in the top bar and then "Forum Accounts" will take you to the page where you can organize your accounts into whatever order you wish.

Same thing happened to me again today Michael - seems to happen every other day. They aren't staying how I arranged them.

This is how they appear on my accounts under forum - obviously not ALL of them as there is more then page - but you can clearly see that they are in order:-

I will just use ctrl+f to find the character I require in the mean time until it's fixed permanently.

Michael The accounts had stayed in order for a few days I thought it had been fixed. In fact they were still in order when I first called up the site this evening. I switched with one of my characters and still in order. Now just going to switch again, back out of alphabetical order again. It really is so much easier when they stay in order. I'm guessing there is still no permanent fix for this? Back to ctrl+f lol

Same here although mine has been out of order for a couple of days now. So now i scroll up and down to find the various accounts hehe.

I know this was just worked on just minutes ago by one of the devs. I would expect to see this soon. (Possibly by the end of this week, more likely the end of next week.)
