Several issues to report relating to the control bar (the bar containing page links, search, etc. that floats down on the top of the page as a HUD element):
Just wanted to let you know.

- The control bar does not resize horizontally when the page does. (ETA: This is quite possibly because we're using a percentage for the content width, and although there are CSS styles for .control_bar in the editable style sheets, width and position keys obviously aren't included since they're modified dynamically.)
- Clicking on a page link in the control bar (e.g. "17" to access page 17 of the current thread) loads a 'different version' of a page than if the page is accessed by any other means, including typing its URL directly into the address bar.
There are several differences I've noted, including the fact that the forum.js and forum.css reference files in different locations than usual. My only real concern is that the 'control bar' version appears to omit certain (not all) headers and footers.
Take for example this page. If you go to it as a member, you will notice a "Hide Avatar" command in the list of options for any post. Click on "17" in the control bar to go back to page 17 and you will notice that no such menu option is available. I've determined this is because the footer component for the "Hide Avatar" plugin is not being included.
Click Refresh on your browser and the footer now appears as it should and the "Hide Avatar" command is there again. Now, click "18" to go back to page 18, and you'll find that "Hide Avatar" is missing on this page. Refresh the page and there it is. You can bounce between as many pages as you like (including going back to page 17) and this will always be the pattern. The page is always missing the footer when accessed from the control bar, but the footer becomes available if the page is refreshed, or if the page is accessed in any other way.
Other members have reported several issues with posts not showing up in rare and unpredictable circumstances, or the control bar taking them off into neverland, and I'm wondering if the problems might not be related. - When viewing paged versions of large collections (for example, looking at page 430 of a member's post log), the 'control bar versions' of pages have incorrect numbering. Instead of 425-435, say, they'll be numbered from 1-34. Click refresh, or visit the page by typing in the URL directly: no problem. Hence another indication that the servers are serving up something different, and the difference apparently has something to do with the referrer.
