Any news on a fix for IE? Sorry I wasn't clear, but fixing my patterns only fixed what is shown in certain cases when someone attempts to make an unsupported roll. It didn't fix the display bug in Internet Explorer. I wouldn't even ask you to attempt to fix it except that people still use IE (a lot of people, apparently).

arek, I've updated to v1.0.7, which should fix the issue of dice not showing up in IE browsers. If the problem persists, please let me know.

Thank you, it works in IE now (tested in IE8, so IE9+ should also work). One very minor problem is that VDice attempts to interpret rolls in code tags (and fails - it shows the roll tag with the internal roll ID), but that's minor and perhaps not easily fixed, so I'm happy. --Arek P.S. If you want to see VDice/Advanced in action or try it out, have a look here. If you want to try it out, please use the "off-topic" forum to do so, and have a look at my "Dice" thread in the "Drunken Monk Tavern" to find out what rolls are supported.

Hi Virgil Sovereign, Have you by any chance had some time to look at the modifications to the dice and spoiler codes we discussed a few weeks ago? (Previewing for the dice code, spoiler box titles for the spoiler code). I think our forum is getting close to being ready to upgrade and I'd like to have those features if at all possible when we do convert. Thanks! Dan

Ah yes, Dan. I'd put that one on the backburner. I'll get it put in this Sunday.

Ok, I must be clueless....
No matter what I try, the only thing that's showing up on my side is the roll tag. I'm sure I missed a vital step somewhere. I've tried a variety of things in the range setting for the plugin before I go to try it out in a post.
Basically what I want is for the dice to be a one roll dice with a customizable range. I just can't seem to figure out what I need to put where to make it do that, because it never seems to work right.

kzweyr: Could the problem be that you're not putting an asterisk after the default roll range in the plugin settings. You need to put in the asterisk (*) to let the plugin know that you want the range to be dynamic. For example, the range 1-6* will make the default range 1-6, and will make the rolls dynamic. Actually, for all interested parties, an update: I have put some hours in on VDice this week, and will continue to. The update to 1.0.8 is fairly substantial because not only will it include previewable dice, I've also decided to revamp the UI a bit. Setting dynamic ranges and configuring graphical parameters should be more straightforward. I also have to take care of the 'dice in code blocks' bug that arek mentioned.

I thought I had tried that, but I guess not. It's working now though, thanks.

@dan4849: Apologies for the delay. Another (somewhat urgent) project has monopolized my time this week. I will get the update done, but duty calls until Friday.

Virgil Sovereign, I hate to keep bugging you about this, but any idea when we might be able to see those fixes?
