Hi Dan:

Not a problem, and I haven't forgotten about it. A friend of mine has an urgent medical issue and I'm one of two people administrating a fundraiser to get her a needed operation. It was supposed to be over today, but since the response is still good, we're extending it until Friday. Hence Sunday will be the day for me to catch up on various other projects.

I don't quite know what I'm doing wrong. for some odd reason, I can't get the [roll=1d20] (i have the range set to 20) to work. Also, is there a way to make the dice image a little smaller? 75X75 is just a bit too big for my liking. I'm using Firefox as my browser, if you need to know that.

If you've set the range in the plugin to 20 (or 1d20), then you need to use the [roll] tag with no parameters (which will then roll 1d20). If you want to support [roll=1d20] you need to set the range to "20*" instead, but then people will be able to make any roll they want.

Change the settings in the TWEAKS tab. Just change the two width tags to 75.

I have VDice (Standard Die Edition) and VDice Advanced loaded (both the latest editions). Whilst I can get [ roll ] to work, nothing else seems to. Neither [roll=d6], [roll=2d6], [roll range="d6"], etc., work as stated. The post just shows the syntax (as per image below). It's not showing right in either Chrome, Firefox, IE or Opera (all latest versions).



It's the same whether or not VDice Advanced is enabled.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was curious as to if you can set up specified ranges for the dice roll. Like, I know you can make it where you can edit the range and allow the users to roll different ranges, but I was wondering if you can use this system to make it where they can only do a few specific ranges? I know you can do it for one range under the range tab if you don't add the asterisk, but I'd like to know if it's possible to make multiple set ranges like that.

I'd like to be able to set it up where they can roll only a few specific die, with ranges such as 1-100, 101-200, etc. I just don't want them to be able to roll ranges like 1-50 or 1-75 or something random like that. If it's not possible, that's cool. I'm just curious ^^

Or, another solution to help me out, would be to show the range used for the dice with an image? I know you can make it show the range, but only if it doesn't have a set image. Is there a way to show what range the user used to roll, but also have an image for the dice outcome?

Hi! Thanks so much for this plugin, my site can't possibly live without it. Unfortunately, it's been causing us issues for switching between the visual and bbcode editors. As in, we can't switch between them at all (I originally posted a bug report here). Whenever we try to switch, it gives us "JS Error: TypeError: Cannot read property of 'success' of undefined" as an error message.

Is there any way I could solve this by changing some settings or something? I use both VDice and the Advanced plugin, and the issue seems to be VDice centric (it doesn't go away if I disable Advanced), but maybe i've done something in advanced that broke something? It was all working fine prior to two days ago.

I am trying to use this on my forum, but I can only get the default dice, which I have managed to change to a d20...

Good evening,
I'm having a bit of trouble with the dice roller. I have the range set up as 1-20* and it seems like most of the dice is all right. The issue is when anyone rolls a 3d6+5.. sometimes, it seems to add up correctly and other times, it doesn't.  It's typically off by 1 or 2.

I cannot seem to get this plugin to work at all on my board. Simply doing [roll] is not working as well as setting a range with [roll=1-5] or [roll range= 1-5].

I noticed today that I have been getting a JS Error when switching between visual and bbc, and this only happens when I have the Vdice (standard) enabled. Has there been any changes that would do this?

But it is still working for you, yes?  I can't seem to get it to work at all.  Any suggestions to help me to get to where you are at XD?

Actually I never tested if it was still working in general, the JS error was kind of annoying since I was trying to write out rules for what the dice are needed for. It was working for me last week though.
