I would like to implement my own background image into the regular message box and quick reply box. However, I would like it to be viewable in both 'Visual' and 'BBCode'. Thanks!  |

M³, not sure how to do it to the Quick Reply without it effecting ALL text area fields (for example, your "signature" in your "Edit Profile", and other similar areas), but to add an image to your Visual and BBCode, go to Admin > Themes > Advanced Styles and CSS: Scroll down to Editors, and then from there, you should see "Visual" and "BBCode". Click them to reveal settings/options. The icon to the right of "background image" to upload an image (or you can paste your URL into the box on the left of it), and edit the settings to your liking.

In your Style Sheet, on approximately line 1368 (I say approximately, because I have stuff added. It may be about 4 or so lines below) you should see: /* Quick Reply */ .quick-reply textarea { border-width: 1px; border-style: solid; border-color: @container_inner_border_color; height: 150px; padding: 5px; width: 100%; resize: none; .box-sizing(); } That is for your text area of the quick reply only, and its height by default is set to 150px. I've looked for the one for the visual/bbcode, and all I can find is .ui-wysiwyg .editors .bbcode-editor textarea { color: @bbcode_editor_text_color; font-family: @bbcode_editor_text_font_family; background-color: @bbcode_editor_background_color; } but it has no height, so maybe someone else can help with it, possibly Brian or someone. |
