i'm not actually sure reverbnation has embed option, i could just find this, but i'm presuming the user can get the code idk, so this is the direct link to a track  www.reverbnation.com/main/crowd_picks/2016_5_3/pruesheridan

Virgil Sovereign this update, are we best waiting for v6? i seem to remember you saying something about it all, and me being your watch out for all the trends in audio sites.

So is it best waiting for v6 ? if not then i can start throwing ads out about our upgrade, i see alot of revb and audio mack stuff thats all

I don't know when v6 will be out, hence I can't answer that definitively.

I can put this update on the burner for before the end of next month, and I'm all but positive v6 won't be released by then, hence my forecast at this point is that the update will be released well in advance of v6.

I can fix this on this coming Sunday.

While I'm doing it, I might as well add in support for other sound embeds. Aside from SoundCloud and MixCloud, are there any specific sites you'd like me to add?

OK, @joecool111 and genesissupport : v1.2.0 is downloadable here:

VSoundCloud 1.2.0.pbp (28.25 KB)

and should become available in the library shortly.

It supports ReverbNation and AudioMack tracks, and should handle the new MixCloud embed codes without issue. Please let me know if it doesn't.

Before installing v1.2.0, I recommend deleting any existing version (including data) and reconfiguring your settings when the new version is installed. This is because the default markup for the various embedded players has been updated.

aphrodite: Unfortunately it seems that for playlists on SoundCloud you can't simply copy/paste the URL of the playlist. I admit it's odd that the track doesn't play since the player obviously knows what playlist is being referenced. It's likely a bug on SoundCloud's end.

In any case, you'll need to visit the "share" option on that page and copy the embed code under "embed".

Click on the "Insert Track" button, paste the embed code into the box provided, and the player should function properly. I've verified this for the qtee playlist.

Please let me know if you have any continuing problems.
