Want to disable attachments...

I am currently evaluating the forums - they are looking pretty good I must say. 

There are a couple of things I am wondering though.

Primarily (for the purposes of this thread!) - can 'attachments' be disabled?  I really don't want forum users to be able to upload attachments...  but I cannot find a place to disable it.

If that isn't possible then might I respectfully suggest it would be a wonderful addition to the feature set?

To disable attachments - Admin Home > Upgrades > Manage Attachments

aRMY83 posted a solution in this thread and it worked for me since I don't have access to the upgrades area as an admin (I'm not the owner.)

Admin > Themes > Layouts > Posting Page

then find this line: 24 or so

$[attachment_button]

then remove it.

I prefer to do this:

<!-- $[attachment_button] --> 

so that if I ever need or want that function back.

If there are multiple themes, then this would be done to the rest of them.

There is already an option to do this on the Manage Attachments page.

No code or template modification is needed. Especially since hiding the button with code will not prevent everyone from making attahcments. Just most poeple. Shutting them off on the Manage Attachments page will ensure they are turned off.
