Transparent Border Colors Error

1) cosmicstrata.proboards.com/admin/themes/visual

2) Received error messages when changing border colors to transparent. Specific cases were the Content Areas border color and the Lists (Boards, Threads, Posts) border color. In Firefox the error messages are as follows in respective order:

error evaluating function `hue`: b.toHSL is not a function

error evaluating function `darken`: a.toHSL is not a function

This was also tested in IE and the error messages are as follows in respective order:

error evaluating function `hue`: Object doesn't support property or method 'toHSL'

error evaluating function `darken`: Object doesn't support property or method 'toHSL'

The theme being modified is the default, chosen from one of the Easy Theme Creator choices then was being slowly modified to fit our desired look. The error does not occur when changing the border color for Content Area Containers to transparent.

3) Should not be receiving these errors and the colors chosen should be able to be applied. All colors were chosen using the color picker provided, not typed in the style sheet. Only the visual editor was used.

4) Every attempt at changing these variables to transparent I am met with these errors. Only transparent though, a color works fine.

5) FF, newest, Windows 7. IE, newest, Windows 7.

The very same issue is happening to me as well, even after 2 months from original poster.  No matter the web browser or the computer I use.  Windows xp, 7, and Mac.
 Same thing happens.
