shoutbox question

i have looked over the css for the shout box but can not find where i can adjust the height of the shout box can someone help if possible please

This really depends on what part of the Shoutbox you want to make bigger/smaller, but the easiest way and what resizes the whole thing, is: Admin > Forum Settings > Shoutbox
Within there, you can adjust the size.


To adjust specific elements, you can do so in the CSS. For example I moved the bbcode images from the top, to be below the text field, so then there was a gap up there, so I reduced that via the CSS.
The same for the footer. In my eyes the footer part (where the actual "send" button is - just below) is usually quite a big gap, so I wanted to reduce that too.

I honestly can't remember what the lines were, but they are pretty obviously because they are in the 100px's.
I think one was about 175px for example.

If you can be more specific as to what you want resizing (assuming the forum settings way doesn't work / do what you need) I can and will gladly try help.
