Advertising is not working? (sorted!)

For some reason a code I am using for my advertising table does not work on V5... I use the
[URL=boardurl][img src="imgurl"][/URL]
And whenever I post it on a V5 forum it spouts out a whole heap of nonsense... Is there some other code I'm supposed to be using so I can have an image as the link? I am really stumped by this. I've tried everything I can think of.

Sorry in advance if this is actually foolish and there is a simple answer. >.< I just can't see it.

In version 5 it follows HTML, which is:

[a href="URL"][img src="imgurl"][/a]

Basically, just change your URL parts from [url=] and [/url] to [a href=""] and [/a]


Assuming it is for in posts. If it's in a header or footer, exchange [ and ] for < and >
