Pandaren Signature

Was playing around in photoshop today and decided to make a signature.. it's my first in several months C&C appreciated and needed

I'm a bit rusty on my tags but I'll give it a go.

I think that lens flare is way, way, way too much. Sure, it draws attention to the text but I think the pandaren's supposed to be the focal point, no? I'm a little confused by the bg as well, I'm not surewhat's going on there, and it's a little busy / grainy. Overall though I think that you've got a good eye in general, but it needs more practice -- dA has tuts on depth which you hint at but aren't quite there on, for instance, and you could use with a slightly more diverse palette (even just pulling that maroon off his belt for an accent colour would help imo).

I'd say 3/5 if you wanted a numerical rating: better than a lot of tags I see nowadays, but needs refinement/practice.

In these type of sigs i would suggest using this type of tutorial on the render to blend it more it will help out a ton. ive made several sigs like this before and id does wonders try using different layer effects and what not and the lens flare can be tricky but yes layer effects work wonders on those too... also look into dust particle brushes they are a nice touch as well
