Search option: date started

Rather than just between the dates, an option to search for threads started between the dates

Threads started between the dates specified will be returned when you specify between two dates and select threads.

But also threads not started between those dates which have a, reply in those dates. It'd be great to have a way to cut those out.

So if you only wanted to find threads started between a particular set of dates (rather than a thread replied to within a particular set of dates)

Hi Maiden,

You can already do this, that's why I hadn't replied.

Search what you want to search on the search page. You can even search between dates or whatever you want. Return the results as threads.

Then on your Search Results page click the filter icon in the search box and you can add start date filters.



You can filter before, after or on any dates you wish.

There is no simple way to add these options to the Search page itself because there are multiple choices. However they already work great as filters. So in the event that you are doing a search like you wish, you can use the filters to do so. That's why they are there.
