Couple of quick questions please

Sorry theyve probably already been covered but the search function isnt working still!

Ipad. A lot of our users are complaining they have to double click on threads to get them to open(desktop mode). Is there anyway round this?

Site speeds. A few users saying the site is taking ages to load compared to V4.5

Google stats. These have stopped tracking. Where do I need to put the code to reenable them?

Chat. Doesnt seem to work anymore? Any ideas?

Hi,

Search is still currently being worked on, if there is a specific place it is not functioning as intended, please let me know where! There is a fix going out for this in a few hours.

iPad - I was unable to replicate this on the office iPad, what version of iOS? (You might want to post on the Mobile App board with a full report about this!)

Site Speeds - Is there a specific place where this is occurring? There have been some reports of forums working slowly on outdated browsers (IE6/IE7) but if this is in reference to a specific board, please tell me where so I can investigate. (If this is in reference to the board that you linked, I'm getting fast response!)

Google Stats - This has been another mixed response issue, some people have had no issues with those converting over, but you might want to re-apply the code.  In v5 you can modify the forum wrapper template and place it before the </head> tag.

Chat - I see the shoutbox on your forum, and I was able to post. What issue are you experiencing?

Search isnt working full stop. Showing no results whatsoever..

Ipad. Isnt on the mobile app version but the desktop mode on safari...

Site speeds - its working fine for me but several users just saying its slow to load in general

I wasnt referring to the shoutbox. Is it possible to have the shoutbox
as a link like the chat used to be? I dont want it displaying
permanently on every page

For users experiencing slow loading, have them first update their browser and see if that helps the situation any. If the user is already using an updated browser, please pass on their browser information (version #) and I'll see about recreating the issue so that we can identify and solve it.

You can very easily set up the shoutbox in v5 to only display on one page, or even just in a mod like Brian's Sidebar where the shoutbox only appears on a specific page, or only pops out when you click it.

Just tried the search again I tried a search for wolves as they had a game tonight and there was a thread. That worked fine. However I tried a search for stuff a few days back and it didnt return anything. There was a thread entitled Gareth Bale and that didnt return anything...

Ill ask them about ipad and browser details thanks and look into the shoutbox

There is currently a known issue where searching before a particular point (like before the forum was converted) does not yield results. There is a fix going out for this later today.

We're getting reports of the same thing from our users, too.

I replicated the issue when I accessed the board from Safari and not the mobile app - I'm running iOS 6.1.2

I don't know if this is your issue or not but ever since I updated both my iPhone and iPad to the 6.1.+ OS clicking on anything does not work as well whether you are here or any other site.   My daughters iphone same thing.

I don't think it has to do with the iOS.  When I try to click on a new thread, the first "click" pulls up the check boxes (since they are a mouseover feature on my desktop) and the second "click" actually opens the thread.  Is there any way to disable the mouseover and just have the check boxes always appear?  That would likely solve the problem.
