Hyperlinking an Affiliate Banner

I'm having trouble hyperlinking my affiliate banner in the Affiliate Bar I got from this site...Can anyone help me? Thank you!

You should always provide a link to your forum when so we know if you have a V5 or V4 forum. If V4 you can go read the FAQ's and look for hyper link. Then where it says "text" put your image link which is shown right in that same post.

I've tried using the hyperlink code from here, but whenever I add it to my affiliate banner in the footer, it never works...

Thanks for the link. This below makes your affi banner go to your site if clicked. Of course you will already on be on your site but what I have below is what you'd give people to affiliate with you provided they are putting it in their headers or footers.
