That's odd. It shouldn't happen. Are you sure you didn't like it on accident first and then dislike it? Or maybe the email was about another thread? Because you shouldn't get an email saying someone like your post. Can I make a test post on your forum and then you dislike it so i can see if i get an email?

Alright thanks! Did the user that it said liked your post, dislike it? Because what I think happened is that someone liked your post at the same time you disliked it(which it was just a coincidence that you liked/disliked it at the same time), and then that person disliked your post, which removes the like and adds the dislike. This caused the email since they did like it, but it didn't cause a forum notification because they had unliked it before you could have seen a forum notification. That's what I think happened because I just tested doing that on my test forum and it happened exactly as it happened for you.

I'm sure there were no likes and I had the same email notification (shown above) when you disliked it but not when another member disliked. The email notifications seem to be a little temperamental as it is. It's actually not a bad thing as it will get members looking

Like I said. I liked your post then disliked it. That's why you got the email notification. It didn't show on the forum because I unliked it so fast. Which is what I think happened with the one email you got. Someone accidentally clicked the like button instead of the dislike button and realized it really quickly and disliked it. This would have sent you the email because they liked it. But they unliked it rather quickly that you would have never known they liked it had it not been for the email. I don't think anything is wrong. It's just something that ultimately can't be stopped. People will accidentally click the like button and realize it and dislike it. So yeah. I hope I made that clear enough. But I could be wrong, but as for now that's my best guess.

It's great that it works. I had a play on your post so you may get a notification as well - changed a dislike to a like and back to a dislike It's actually a good thing that members are able to change their minds and may create more "discussion" (aka arguments )

Okay. I figured you did like then dislike it cause I got an email. LOL. And yeah being able to change your like/dislike is important that's why it's there. And you are welcome. I'm sorry it took so long. When I first tried writing this in April, there was things I had to use that I didn't know, so it was a learning curve, but since then I have learned all of that, which made writing it now a WHOLE lot easier. But I'm glad it works. It still has it's issues that happen when spamming the buttons that I can't overcome. Just keep testing it. And if after a week or so you don't have any problems I'll add it to the library.

It should be the same(at least it was for me); Can you give a link to your forum? I'm pretty sure I know the problem but wanna make sure.
