News Feed showing Recent Thread Titles

Just wondered if it would be possible as a feature of the news feed to have maybe scrolling links of the titles of the Recent Threads.

Or maybe its possible to build something like that away from the news feed and just using part of code from the Recent Threads page?

As a feature request this is a no.

I have no idea if this could be a plugin, but you could certainly go ask.
