notification by mail end reply by mail

Is it possible to send a notification by mail to a group on every post?
Is it possible toreply on the forum using a mail address?

I don't believe it's possible to set this on a group basis. Instead, individuals would have to adjust their notification preferences in their profiles.

Also, it is not possible to reply to a post via email.

thanks, but in the profile i can set the notification only for "quote my post" , if a user send a quick post, it is not notificated, isn't it?

Another issue: i would that every user is notificated for each post; we use the forus for customer support , so it could be interesting sometimes to send an automatic email to every user in case of "announcement"

Hi, quick Reply are notified by the Participated button, if a user posts in that thread, there will be an icon in there, letting them know. 

Users can opt out of emails sent from the Staff, emails are not done automatically, as its not a feature. you need to manually send them to groups.

I've been a member of Proboards for over a year now and have my own threads. I was successful in finding and joining another forum and thread yesterday but after an attempt to join yet another thread I got this email from Proboards:

"Our staff has opted not to approve your account, and therefore it has been removed."

So.....is this from the staff at Proboards or from the administrator at that particular thread? I know some administrators have set their thread up so they can say who joins and who doesn't (and I'm ok with that) but it still make me wonder who refused my entry? Any ideas?

No, ProBoards staff had nothing to do with this. The main admin, or a staff given the ability by the main admin Declined your request to join the forum. ProBoards does not handle this kind of things. 

And yes this thread it, but its for one question, if you have anymore question, please create a new thread to avoid confusion for the thread owner.
