I notice how we can enable/disable the Info Centers, but as a "whole". Meaning, you can either enable Info Centers to show in BOTH the boards AND the main page, or to not show on both at all.
I understand that it is very easy to just comment out the board ones if you wish to disable that on its own, but of course not everyone knows how to.
Can we have an easier way to disable them individually? So the below:
Display Info Centers [Yes / No] Specific Board Online List [Yes / No] Display Legend [Yes / No]
could become similar to:
Display Info Centers - Home [Yes / No] - Boards [Yes / No] Specific Board Online List [Yes / No] Display Legend - Home [Yes / No] - Boards [Yes / No]

Right now the answer is no.
An on and off switch for the entire thing is simple. An on or off switch for every specific element is complex.
Part of the reason we aren't doing this is because of the way we set it up. The whole point is you can edit the individual elements yourself. We wanted to give everyone that ability. So understand that when I say the reason is that you can't have on/off switches for each section because we let you edit I mean that two ways. 1) You can already edit it. So we don't need to add the options. 2) Because you can edit it we would have trouble providing reliable options. Does that make sense? Because we set it up to let you edit it, we can't rely on the classes remaining consistent. We would very likely receive complaints from people that they are disabling a section and its still there. And the reason would be that someone edited the class in the theme they are using. The last and final reason has to do with specificity. As soon as I say yes to your request, you or someone else will request theme permissions for each option. (If you give a mouse a cookie and all that) And honestly I don't disagree. Right now you can edit the templates of every theme to display the info center differently. If I give you settings in the settings page how does that work? Which overrides which? Which will cause people to complain it's broken? Both?
You already have the power to edit your info center on each and every theme how you desire. And in the event that you want to make the entire info center non existent you can throw the master switch on the setting space and hide it everywhere. You already have more power than us adding settings would provide. All the settings would do is cause confusion and the appearance that certain things were broken (when they weren't).
