StatCounter wants the code to be placed before </body>
I did try placing it in the main footer, but StatCouter test indicated code was not detected.

Hi, You can add their code into that area by doing the following: Visit your admin panel, then navigate to Themes > Layout Templates. On this next page, click on the "Forum Wrapper" link. You'll find the </body> tag at the bottom of the listed code  |
