Board name added to the thread listings template vars?

It was suggested that I start this thread here (see support.proboards.com/thread/450980/request-show-board-newest-topics?scrollTo=5209178&page=1 for original thread and details)

Can we get the board name added to the thread listings template variables?  And how would we only add it for the /recent/threads page?

I really hope this feature can be added as I'm getting loads of requests for the board name to show on the new threads list,on my forum.

It can already be made to show on the thread list. See here for example:

Stinky666, how does this work with the recent/threads list? I am talking about the list itself - having a column that shows the board name in the row with the thread name, as recent/threads does not have a BOARD associated with it.

I believe this has been explained fully now. What you have is not what people are looking for. thanks

Most other forum hosts show the board each recent thread thread is in. It's fairly vital info on a busy forum with lots of very different boards.

Thanks Ryan, I have done that already! No word, however, from anyone if that is going to happen or not.

We go through that thread from time to time and implement the requests or reject them. As long as yours in in the thread we'll get to it. And it will be added or it wont. It's usually only a no if it can't be for some reason.

btw, this is one of the reasons why I am not upgrading my forum and have delayed it. I truly do need it.
