When I go to your live preview I see this. User names in the Shoutbox don't appear. Applied it to my forum and had the same issue (and tested it in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera and IE with the same results). Am I the only one with this viewing problem? If so, any idea's for a possible fix?

If so, any idea's for a possible fix? It should work as follows: if someone is signed in, they should definitely show as online. If nobody is online, there will be no name in the online section. Is this only happening as a guest,or does it also happen when you or others are signed in?

It is happening when I am signed in. I created a secondary account and tried it with the same problem as well. Should I simply try to reinstall? To make this a little more clear I should provide an image here as well I suppose. That screenshot is immediately after reinstalling without changing anything. It would also appear as though it hides the banner ad at the bottom of the screen, but I have purchased Ad Removal so this isn't immediately a problem for me but I'd like to fix this as well.

Your post has confused me, I must say. If you have paid to remove the ads, then that's why they are not there at the bottom, which is a good thing. That means it works. My theme shouldn't affect the banner ads at all though. The image you show above, in your latest post, I see it says "James" online for users..

I'm sorry I've confused you. My problem is not with the online users section. It is the shoutbox. Usernames do not show up in it for me.
Edit: The images above show all I see in the shoutbox. Just a "," before the post. When I switch to the default theme they show up but when I change it back, no names.

I'm sorry I've confused you. My problem is not with the online users section. It is the shoutbox. Usernames do not show up in it for me. Ohhhhhhhh haha. Sorry. I thought that because in the original image you showed, there were no users displaying in the "users online" section for the info center. Crossed wires lol. Let me just test this on my test forum for a second Back in a moment Edit: Ok Woah, they don't for me. They definitely did do. Apologies for that. I assume it's an update/push from ProBoards that has caused it. Just going to take a look to try fix Edit 2: Ok I found the problem rokuro. Go to your admin > themes > layout templates > shoutbox > individual posts On line 3 you should see $[shoutbox_post.created_by _user] Remove the part from it that I have coloured red, then hit save. So it should now look like: $[shoutbox_post.created_by]

Works perfect. Thanks for the fix. This is easily the best theme out for V5 at the moment so I'm glad the problem was easily fixed.

Are the edits at the bottom of the page already included in the download if I download today? Secondly, I really like the look you have going here but I have a few changes I am considering...I am a complete noob though and was wondering if I could get some assistance. I would personally prefer the shoutbox to be above the forum body and flipped so new is at the top as well as the reply. With vertical padding kept to a minimum. I was hoping to be able to shorten the mini profile section that comes up when you post. can the whole "location" box be removed? How would I yurn off the avatar showing up next to the threads in the thread list? Thanks so much if you happen to feel like helping.

I refuse to update anything of mine in the Library, until ProBoards make it so the library remembers my uploaded images, and content. The stuff is easy to do from the first post though, and explained very well. If you're unsure, don't hesitate to ask. 2) Shoutbox above forum.. Admin > Themes > Layout Template > HomeOn lines 223, 224 and 225 you should see

$[shoutbox]

Copy all of that to your clipboard, and remove/erase/delete it from where it currently is, on those lines. Now go up to line 1 and make a new line after it. Paste your clipboard there. Now Lines 1, 2, 3 and 4 should look like this: $[news]

$[shoutbox]

If there is to much space/gap between anything, remove any of the
, or remove all of them if you wish
For #3 and #4, I will tell you shortly, I have to rush off now

Wow fast response...thank you so much.
I had done a bunch of editing to the theme last night and have decided to use it as learning experience. I am going to start fresh with new download. I am noticing however that fresh install does not include your banner images on the left and right...Do I need to enable them somewhere? Not default?

Hi, if you go and install directly from: www.proboards.com/library/themes/item/14(don't forget to rate + leave a review Click "Install", the banner's should be there, they are for me. I just tested on a forum, and they are there as they should
