1. How can I change the banner?
2. How and where do I change/add to the user legend colors?

1. Admin > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet

I also just noticed that the statistics box has those 4 little colored squares on the right...I assume that people who log in should have thier names listed in the colors of thier group. If that is the case then it may not be working as intended. Both members there now are admins and listed in green.

You need to adjust the colours accordingly, to match your forum members/group colours.
If you see my above reply to @khristian, question two shows the link for details on how to edit.
If it's too much, you can remove it if you wish, and if that is the case let me know and I will tell you how

I believe I am on the latest IE but it is a work computer and I have no control over much. I noticed that some silly things like the rounding of title boxes and sucgh did not show here either but they do at home. I was planning on spending a lot of time this weekend cleaning up the forum look so I will wait to bother you further until I am on the home rig...Thanks for your help.

PS don't forget the two items left in my first post...you had to leave and I bombarded you when you came back hehe.

I edited it but it hasn't changed at all... but oddly enough in the preview editor besides the style sheet it changes but not when I refresh the forum after it's saved. I just want to replace the three images you have with this one img692.imageshack.us/img692/1192/wt59.jpg but still keep the graphic and thin gray line before the three images.

I take that back, apparently it's refusing to save...

It saved now. It was just being dumb for a while, lol. Thank you!

luap, for the removal of the avatar, do the following:

Admin > Themes > Layout Templates > Board > Thread List
On line 7 you will see:
<td class="created-by" style="background-color: #111111;">$[thread.created_by_user.avatar_small]</td>

Add the parts in blue:
<!--<td class="created-by" style="background-color: #111111;">$[thread.created_by_user.avatar_small]</td>-->

Hit save and that will now be removed

@khristian, the problem here is the fact you need the image with the grey border to be 151px because your banner is 150px, where as currently the banner is 200px for that one with the border.
If you want, I can make an edit to the image, and make it the correct size for you so it works fine

Just give me about 15mins and I will do it for you and then tell you what to edit

Everything you have said works like a charm...just gotta say. I had asked the same question on the support boards about moving the shoutbox and they said some stuff about commenting out the existing box and putting in some script and something about a plugin and stuff...it probably would have worked but geez this was so much simpler.

I have one more question for you at this time.
Can the top two corners (top left and top right) where the banner background cuts into the forum background (left and right) images be tapered or curved to reduce that conflict area? My banner is just black on the ends and would rather see your images than the black area.

Basically just let me know what line the "rounding" is on for the banner...I have as yet not found it.

Do you mean the two top corners where the menu buttons and your name + inbox is?
If so, go to Admin > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Header (top) > Navigation Bar
Where it says "Border Radius" set that to whatever number you want (10px is good), and then to the right of that click the button which has an arrow on. Now you will see 16 different options. You'd want to select the first one on the second row.

I think that's what you want. If not, could you possibly elaborate a little more?

Also luap, you said before you wanted to remove the "location" box. Do you still want to?
Just to note, it has other options in there with it. Would you like to maybe merge that box with the other one with Posts, Online etc?

A) I am fine with the navigation bar. It is the banner image that I would like to lop the top corners off of.

B) As for the location box...first off...is that section called the "mini-profile"? The one that is next to the persons post? Assuming that is a yes...I just think (in my opinion only) that the mini-profile overall is too tall for when people do short posts. If I could remove the box that contains personal stuff like location it would help. It isn't really the type of forum where people are going to get too personal. With that and removing some of the vertical padding I would be happier...but it is a minor tweak.

One other thing is my signature is passing underneath the mini-profile, can it be set to always be to the right of it unless the post is longer than the profile?
