Full release opening date?

I was just wondering because I've been given conflicting answers - when are the rest of the forums being converted to version 5?  Thank you.

The 29th of April. Where have you been given conflicting answers? If the wrong date posted somewhere by us, I would like to correct it.

Edit: You can opt-out of the automatic v5 update anytime from your admin panel. You can remain in v4 until the end of 2013.

Michael, Ahh okay. That makes sense. I kept hearing April from some people and then December from others, so I wasn't sure. Just rumors through the grapevine I was trying to clear up.

Also - in order to opt out when will admins see that option in their admin panel? Will it be the day of the 29th or sooner?

The option is already in all v4 admin panels, on the same page that the upgrade button is on.

Michael, my friend is unable to see the option in his admin panel. All he sees is the upgrade to version 5 tab. :/

The opt-out option is on the upgrade page itself. Hit the 'Click Here To Get Started' link, the button is in the middle of that page.

Michael, will the Beta-Zone forums be deleted at that same date?

At this point it has been decided that BetaZone forums will be deleted a few months after the launch of v5. This is subject to change. If BetaZone signup and use remains high, we may continue the program longer.

To put it simply, we do not have a definitive date set for the end of BetaZone.
