Hi, I know you can change the background image when you hover over a board but is there a function where you can have multiple images so I can have a different picture for each board instead of the same images repeating. Cheers.

Greetings,
How are you placing the images? Is this a plugin? Can you tell us which one?

yes stinky666 I'm using the rows option. There's only one section to place an image in. It would be great to have a different image in each board. Not sure if this is possible or will become possible in the future. I don't know much about plugins RedBassett as I'm new to running a forum. Cheers.

This is actually surprisingly easy to do.
Add the following line to the bottom of Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet. Replace the number in red with the ID of your board.
Example: board.proboards.com/board/27/board-name ^^
Substitute the second red text with the URL to your highlight image.
This will replace the hover image on your forum's home page with the image you specify.

Hi Brian, I've tried this but it didn't work! am I doing something wrong? I went to the bottom of the style sheet page and posted the link you gave then replaced the number 27 with the word for sale and added my image in the image url bit. What am I doing wrong? many thanks.

What am I doing wrong? many thanks. You change the ID number to the one of the board. So for example if I wanted a specific image for this board (V5 General Discussion), I would look in the board and see that this is the address: support.proboards.com/board/28/general-v5-discussion - the red part is the ID for THIS board (V5 General Discussion). If I went to General Talk I would get this url and ID support.proboards.com/board/33/general-talk Hope this helps.

Go to the home page of your forum and click on one of your boards to enter it. The URL in your browser's address bar will show the numerical ID of the board, just like the examples that we provided.

What's the error you're receiving?
Can you post the exact code you're placing in your style sheet as well?
