Hello. I accidentally deleted a whole slew of threads from my board. I forgot to uncheck them after unlocking all of them, then went to delete a thread and all of them vanished. The link that RedBassett posted up there keeps popping up with "You cannot view this thread" or something to that degree. What are the requirements/info for getting the recovered threads back? I did see the post that mentioned the $20 fee, so I am aware of that. If someone could give the link to the information or point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks.

Akatuski, have you read the REST of this thread? There is NO way at this time to do so. Once deleted, they are gone. That is why I always recommend using the Recycle plugin, which was linked to in an earlier post in this thread.

Yes, i did read the REST of this thread. From what it said, the person's thread was recovered give or take a missing post or two. Will the recycle plugin work with stuff that has already been deleted, or only things deleted after the plugin is installed?

This thread is from 2013. Things have changed since we've gone to V5. Data restores are not being offered at this time. The recycle plugin will only work with data that has been deleted after the plugin is in place.

Only after. What it basically does, is replaces the delete with a move to a board you choose as your Recycled threads board. Then, you can delete from there, if really want them deleted. However, do note, we have found that the recycle board, can not be a sub-board of any other board.

The recycle plugin will only work with data that has been deleted after the plugin is in place. It should be noted that if a thread is literally deleted, not "recycled", then it can't be recovered. As @burkeknight said, the plugin basically moves the thread to a different board.

Threads cannot be restored at this time -- either for free or by paying a fee.
