Counting members per group

I'm an admin on Demons Run, a supernatural roleplay forum, and I'm using the groups section to keep track of how many members are in each group or species so I can balance the proportions. Recently I noticed the count is out of date because it says there are more members than there are without subtracting people we've lost, and I wondered if there was a way to "reset" the counter or "refresh" it, so to speak. Apparently it was possible before v5 but now I can't figure out how to do it.

Hi Snap,

It should work how you described, that the count should increase or decrease instantly after adding or removing a member to a group. I took a look and can confirm this does not appear to be the case on your forum however, so I have created a bug ticket with our developers to look into this issue further

I am also staff on Demons Run and i'm wondering if there's any idea if this issue is fixed yet?

I still have an open ticket for this issue, I'm afraid it has not been resolved yet.

Hi Snap and SkyBear,

Apologies for the long wait. The bug which was causing the counts to get out of sync is fixed, although it will take a few days before it is pushed out to all forums. I manually fixed the counts for your forum - this takes place immediately.

The bug was related to deleting users, so the counts may get out of sync again if you delete any members before the push goes out. Once it is released, then there should be no further issues.
