v5 Mini Profile Questions

Not sure if this is the right place, but I had a few questions about the mini profile!

1. Is it possible to move/style display names in the MP? I was looking at both the MP template & CSS area and I couldn't figure out how to do it. I'd like to move the display name under a profile and have the text styled with a different font / size for the MP only.

2. I know that 'Member is Online' is the only thing that shows right now, but would it be possible to have something for offline too?


3. What UBBC do the custom profile fields accept? I've tried a [br] and a [img src="url"] and neither work.

1. Er.. I have no clue, a coder would be more successful at answering that..

2. Not at the moment, but im sure you can request this in Feature Requests.   Look at post below

3. Lol,
does not work in there, though 
[img][/img]
 will add a image. Regular BBCode tags will work. Like
[url][url]
will work as well. Styling for diff fonts work as well, as well as bold and italic

Thomasss - thanks for the reply! For #2, I don't want it a feature, exactly - just more if there was a way for me to add it into my layout in particular. I may not want it for all layouts, just this one. :] I hope that makes sense!

For #3, the image tag is NOT working in the custom MP fields! I've tried both the old [img][/img] tags as well as the new [img src=""] and it's no go. I'm not sure why [br] wouldn't work, as it's accepted as UBBC elsewhere (such as in the custom title field), so I think I may need someone else to answer that one. No offense meant!

Hey, it works in every custom title ive assigned/had. Are you sure your putting in the correct tags?

I am trying to use UBBC in the custom profile fields, NOT the custom title field.

Ohhz.. Gah, sorry. This does not support currently BBCode or UBBCode, and if you wanted, an admin can surely back me up on that one.

And, im not a coder,so i would have no clue up the wazoo, BUT it could be done with a plugin request maybe..

For moving the display name in the mini-profile, it's the $[user] variable normally at the top. This includes the link, username tag tooltip etc. To style it with CSS, you'd use this selector: div.mini-profile a.user-link

Brilliant, thank you! Now is there any way to get this applied to guest MPs as well? I've fiddled around with

but I am not really sure what it does haha.

is_guest isn't a valid variable.
If you want to display something for guests only, you'll want to use {if !$[user.is_member]}
