Is it possible to have a 'contact us' facility on the v5 forums, so folk can contact the website. You'll see many forums having a contact button on the navigation bar, which takes you to a form. Typical form.  |

Nope, just bringing up the idea, as a forum is already a way to contact you, so a form seems kinda redundant.

Typical form. On a custom page you can do anything. So yes it's possible. You'll need to create a custom page and add a form that will email you. This isn't really a feature request at all. Nope, just bringing up the idea, as a forum is already a way to contact you, so a form seems kinda redundant. Having a contact form is a tad more professional in my opinion. It also allows a number of different staff to deal with something, rather than one guy get a pm etc. |

this can easily be solved with a Contact Me plugin of course its free but you need to register to access the code Just an update: The code puts a button on the side of the forum, be it top, middle, bottom, or right / left etc, and can be edited regarding colour. The form is pleasant enough, with an advert for 'contact me' on it, which is ok I guess. The big problem is that it isn't secure, and has no captcha etc, which is a pity, as otherwise it would have been ideal. Appreciate the heads up though. Much obliged. |
