Thanks for your help. I will do that and let you know. One update on the matter is that for some reason it does work ok in Chrome browser. It would seem like an Internet Explorer problem, but if that is true why dose is work on my test site. Here's a link to that. lumix-photos.proboards.com/

Update, Disabled all other plugins and still not working.

The one difference that I see is that your main site is a freeforums.net. I have no idea IF that is the issue, and if so, what could be causing it.. Very strange.

Have you tried other browsers, like Firefox, Safari or Opera?

No not as yet. I'm going to post a request to the members to try it out and see what comes back. May be a few days before I can get the info so please bear with me. Many thanks for looking into this for me. I'm at a complete loss.

Hi Todge, I have concluded that this problem is only related to Internet Explorer. Firefox, Chrome and my Samsung Tablet browser all work 100%. I have also noticed that the Important Threads plugin will not work on my forum but is OK on my test forum. I can't seem to work out why as my computer settings are the same and so are the settings for IE. Maybe it's as you said. Something to do with the two forums having different URL addresses. It's a real headacke but not urgent. My members are awear of the problem so just change browsers and carry on. If you would like to continue de-bugging this one, you are wellcome to access my computer anytime.

Strange.. The code works for me in IE..

Which version are you using?

Ver 11. The code does not work my forum with .freeforums.net URL, but works in the forum with proboards.com URL

I have gotten pm's from people saying it is no longer working. I can't even test it out for them because I can't get it to save any image urls.

I was doing it wrong. It does work for me.

But, one of the member's says it used to work for them but is no longer working for them.

Can you see why it isn't working for skitler? He says it works for him at another forum. So he seems to know how to use it.

It's going to be incredibly difficult to find the reason one person is having a problem if the code works for others, and why it should work for them on one forum but not on yours is a mystery.

Can you find out which browser they are using, and get a link to the forum they say it is working on. It MAY be that the other forum is running a different version.

Hi Todge. I left a pm with them asking about their browser. When I hear back I'll let you know.

The site that he says it doesn't work on is Gibby's. She is the owner and admin. I help her and I updated all her plug ins this week. Should I try putting and older version in, instead? I wouldn't know which one since some of the plug ins were very outdated.

The other site where he says it works for him is here discussiontime.freeforums.net/

The version that that forum is using is version 1.1.5, so I'd try replacing the version you have currently installed on the problem forum with that version.

Also, could you find out what part of the plugin is failing? Can they store images but not use them? Or can they not even do that?

From what he has said in the past he has images stored but couldn't use them. But why are the rest of us able to store and use them with v 1.1.8?

I will try the older version though and see if that helps him. That might help you track down the problem. Thanks.

In getting the older version, I see the 1.1.8 version changed how they were added to posts and that is where he is having problems. I use FF so maybe the problem with the new version 1.1.8 is how IE adds them to posts.

Well, that isn't it.  I just tried it with IE v11 with v1.1.8 of te plug in and had no problems.  What I do notice with both IE and FF is that after selecting an image the window stays open and you have to click outside the window to get it to close.  Is that anything different from previous versions?
