I've not had any problems with IE11 either, which is why I'm at a loss as to what may be causing this.
Does this member use a different theme to others? Also, would they be prepared to try FF to make sure it is a browser problem?

I've not had any problems with IE11 either, which is why I'm at a loss as to what may be causing this. Does this member use a different theme to others? Also, would they be prepared to try FF to make sure it is a browser problem? I have been having him test various versions. First at Gibby's there is only the one theme so that isn't an issue. I installed 1.1.5 and he could not use the images in quotes or replies, but it worked in quick reply. I then installed the next version 1.1.6 and am waiting to hear back. I'm wondering and I asked him how he has the editor set because he commented on seeing the code and the image only after posting. I think that is normal if bbcode editor is the default. I'll ask if he can try FF but I'm thinking if he uses IE he probably doesn't have FF installed. I'll let you know if I hear more back.

TodgeIt seems that when he has the editor in preview mode it will not let him insert a personal smiley. He has to switch over to bbcode editor to add a personal smiley, then switch back to finish writing his post. Does that help at all?

Not as yet.. I've had a quick look but as it seems to be working for me it's going to be difficult to track down.
I'll try to have a closer look over the holidays.

I was able to install the plugin and added a couple of emojis using the recommended forum URL, but the thumbnail for the emoji does not display in the "insert smiley" dropdown box. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

What am I doing wrong? Thanks! Hey-ya, Are the smilies displayed on your profile page when you hover the mouse over the URLs? No they aren't ETA: I've found if I use the direct link to the image, it works. The BB code doesn't work. The direct link causes a conflict with the smilie drop down plugin I added for the forum, so unless that can be fixed, I'd rather stick with the smilie drop down plugin than the personal smile plugin. Thanks in advance for your help. I'm not very good at this stuff, so I hope what I wrote makes sense.

They should still appear in the profile page, regardless of whether the same smilies are in the drop down plugin.. Could you please PM me a couple of examples of the smiley URLs that are causing problems and I'll see if I can find out what's going on.
