Emails from banned account

A mass email is sent even if the account is banned, I suggest this not happen....

We will discuss this. Though I will point out that it's specifically been requested the opposite many many times. People use the Email Members to tell people why they were banned. I can almost promise you that this won't be changed because of that reason. It's the one way for admins to communicate with banned members. If you delete members when you ban them then they won't receive a message. And if you won't delete them because the ban is temporary then there should be a reason for them to not receive emails.

What I will bring up and what is more likely to be added is an exclusion list. Most places in the admin area have an exclusion list when you are specifying permissions. There isn't an exclusion list on the Email Members page. This would end up giving you one more option that isn't listed above. You could then specify people you don't want to send to. Either by group or by name.

So your request probably won;t happen, but you will probably have another option you don;t have right now. This likely won't be pre-launch.

I understand thank you, it was just a bit distracting since I was blocked months ago and it was more of "need active members" and nothing important.

Building off of this, maybe an unsubscribe link or something could be put in place, since banned members can't get to their profile to opt-out of emails?

Already exists. And it's managed on a global level so that being banned doesn't effect your ability to opt out.
