I upgraded a forum. One of the skins was mostly blue "0000ff" with some red "ff0000". Gradients made the colours merge in some places: (see below) After the upgrade the blue seems to be white in some places and red in others. (see below) What do I do to achieve the original look please?

Hi, gradients are no longer in V5, unless you know CSS well, this can not be done.

Hi, dno. While the old color-to-color gradients are gone we still provide several other options in terms of styling that you may like. Most of the current gradients have low opacity, but are defined in a way that lets you add colors behind them. For example, this is a custom gradient I've created based on an existing one in V5: On a white background you would only see the bear, which has the most color and opacity. But put a color behind it and... The entire image is recolored. This is how all of V5's default gradients work now, but you can always substitute them with your own image.

Thank you Brian I'll tinker with it. All the other skins have upgraded very well so it's just that one that I need to spend a little time on.

It's worth noting that the Themes section is currently malfunctioning in several areas. We're actively working on this at the moment, so hopefully it'll be fixed by the end of today.

I've sorted this one now. Cropped and resized the bit I wanted from the screenshot I had on photobucket. Then put the link in the visual editor. It looks just as it did before. Thank you for the tip Brian
