Custom Banners for Categories and Boards

Is there any way to customize the font, font color, banner color and formatting for a banner for specific Categories or Boards? For example, if I have a category or board only visible to a specific group of members I'd like to make the appearance different than the rest.

Hi, this is not a feature currently. You can make new themes, and make that theme visible only to a specific group, thats about the only way to do this.

But if I do that, the theme I make is applied to the entire forum, right?

Not unless you make it the default theme.

I think they are asking if the theme would affect the entire forum (No matter which members have permission to see it, but those that do would see it -everywhere-), in which case, it would be yes. There isn't currently a way to make a theme show up on only one board/category. :- )

There is a theme selector in the profile, and once you make the theme visible only to certain groups, they are able to change to that theme.

But what the OP is asking for is for the board and/or category to look different from the rest of the forum, not to give one specific member group a different theme to use for the entire forum. ;- ) At least, that's how I'm reading it, "I'd like to make the appearance different than the rest." (Of the forum...?)

That's correct. This is what I am after, which is apparently not possible. Thanks guys.

The only way this would be possible would be your headers and footers, but the changes would apply to every theme on your forum.
