It shouldn't interfere unless you have a link somewhere, although even using that URL after being logged in on the regular one it still seemed to retain my login.

Just for good measure though, have you tried manually logging out of the forum and logging back in? Can you tell me if you still experience the same issues after that?

I know it's early days yet, but here is a heads-up: so far I have not needed to re-log in once... so logging out and back in seems to have solved it So unless you hear otherwise soon, you may consider that a viable solution

Eh still having trouble. And the remember me box is not always there.
