1) The URL to the page you are on when the bug occurred.-- Any/Board Wide: kenderbard.proboards.com/2) What happened, in detail?-- Take a post with a great deal of text. Multiple paragraphs. Edit the post, highlight the text, and hit ctrl+c to copy. Back out of this post. Start a new topic or a new reply elsewhere (either works for this.) Paste text into the Visual Editor (uncertain if this also happens in the BBCode Editor, but I generally do this preserve formatting styles so...) Post message. Message appears as shown in attachment. 3) What do you think should have happened instead?-- All formatting, including line breaks, should be exactly the same as the post from which you copy the original content from. 4) Can you reproduce this on every pageview?-- Yes. 5) What browser, version, and operating system are you using?-- Firefox 19.0.2 on Windows 7 6) Please attach a screen shot (JPG or PNG -- not GIF or BMP) if it is relevant--See Attached Attachments:

The problem comes from formatting from the individual source. There may be code (open up that post in BBCode viewer) that is applied when the post is made in order to maintain its formatting in the original post (unbeknownst to the original poster). This may be unwittingly carried over on a copy and make the formatting appear different when pasted. Here on support for instance, since I know my posts contain virtually 0 formatting most of the time, I was able to copy+paste this reply in from elsewhere and it appears normally. This is great when you want to maintain formatting on a post that didn't get some weird formatting when it was originally posted, but don't work 100% of the time, especially when you don't know about individual formatting the user applied.
