Ryan Roos I read a thread out here a few weeks back about an automatic "Welcome Message" feature being added to v5. Was just wondering if there was a release date yet

If you're talking about an automatic message after registration it's already there.
Admin/Settings/Forum settings on the Forum tab scroll to the bottom and there is a space to put your After Registration Page. I use this to point to our post which is the welcome to... and a general view of rules, etc.

Admin/Settings/Forum settings on the Forum tab scroll to the bottom and there is a space to put your After Registration Page. I use this to point to our post which is the welcome to... and a general view of rules, etc. thanks for the reply. What I am talking about is a welcome pm that would be sent after a new member registers. |

If so it is likely that you won't be seeing this until after v5's launch. thanks for the reply, all I remember is someone brought it up in a post and someone at PB, it may not have been Ryan, said that it was being worked on. Don't recall if they said it would come out when v5 launches or not, but you could be correct. I have searched all over for the thread and can't locate it. |
