buggy editor problems

Is the post editor buggy and will be getting better? I'm having issues with pasting in URLs or even just trying to turn text bold or add a smiley. What I intend to occur does not happen. For instance, the smiley replaced text even though I had no text highlighted.  On the other hand, when I highlighted some text I wanted bold, it didn't not make it bold and added the b codes in the wrong place. It's so confusing it's hard to describe. But it has happened several times this morning as I've been adding posts to my new site.

Any advice or encouragement that this is being worked out?

Other than that I LOVE version 5. It's SO much easier to set up categories and boards and everything now!

Hello, you can easily add them yourself, however, can i ask where its adding them?

And i'm not sure what you mean with the smiley, are you saying it shows it as the text, not the image?

I just checked out your forum and did some testing editing some posts. Are you using the Visual editor, or BBCode? I didn't notice any problems with either.

I also noticed you're using an older version of Safari, have you tried another browser like Chrome? Are you still able to replicate the same issues there?
