In the older versions, I used to have a code that would create a box for extra smileys above the reply box. In the switch to version 5, the codes no longer worked. However, I noticed that the text for smileys still worked. For example, the text to replace for a rose smiley was set to :rose:. The rose smiley does not show in the smiley box or the theme manager that I can find, but typing :rose: still produces the rose smiley. I thought this odd, but could not find anything about it in searching the support boards here.
Because members want the extra smileys back and do not remember the codes, I decided to go ahead and start adding them. I currently have 4 different themes for my forums, so I started to add them using the theme manager smileys section. When adding to the three non-default themes, everything goes smoothly. I added two smileys, angry and abduction, and then changed their text to replace to  and :abduct:.
However, I ran into a peculiar issue on the default theme. I added the same two smileys, angry and abduction. However, when I would try to change the text to replace to  and :abduct: I received the error message:
"Name must be unique within this category."
This happens every time I go into the screen to add the smileys on the default theme. What should have happened is the same that happened for the other three themes: I should have been able to edit the text to replace with no error so that the smileys could appear in the box when posting a reply. Considering that the smileys will still appear (such as the rose example above), I am wondering if this means the smileys are already there on the default theme but just not showing up in the smiley box and theme manager images.
