News Feed Position

Just a quick question: Is there any way to move the News Feed to be above the adverts?

In Structure > Layout Templates > Home, copy this variable, then remove it and save.

$[news]

Now go to Structure > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper and paste it above this line.

$[header]

Out of curiosity, if you didn't want it in the forum wrapper, and wanted it kept it in home only, (main page only) how would this be achieved? =D

The $[news] variable only outputs information on the home page even if it's in the forum wrapper.

Yep. Just one of the many things I came across by simply experimenting.

I do experiment, then break stuff, then make you help me, and you guys get annoyed with me. So I stop experimenting, at least for a bit..

Because adding to the wrapper does make stuff global, I never like the idea of news global, so never attempted to move it.

It's not been implied or anything, but from the amount of stuff I ask and need help with, it kind of implies itself
