Messages Gone Wonky Again?

It's happened on my forum and another I just visited. I log on mine says I have a message yet there is nothing new.
On the forum I just am on i get 4 new messages yet nothing is new.

yeah but it takes some doing...lol! But why do I get the message notification bubble when there aren't any new ones. It's like all the ones been sent to me over the last few days are all supposedly appearing at once.

It's a bug. Naturally I don't have an explanation, as that's more up the developers' alley.

Same happening on my forum. One member had a notification bubble saying he had 13 new messages, but had non. I had a message saying i had 6 new messages, but only had one.

When I clicked on the actual notification bubble, rather than the "message" tab, it took me to an old message read message form almost a month ago.And the same thing happened each time I clicked on the bubble.

Does this still occur? I would check myself but I don't want to click on any of your messages by accident.

I think it's stopped occurring, but having a lot of trouble getting into the forum tonight (UK time) to check with other members

Update, forum now loading fine & no more reports about this issue
